BNN seizes 63,500 ecstasy pills from two TNI personnels

The two TNI personnels worked for a drug owner who is a prisoner in Salemba prison. REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — National Narcotics Agency (BNN) arrested two personnels of Indonesian Military (TNI) related to drug case. Both of them were arrested in operations on Sept 26 to 29 and also on Oct 7 to Oct 11 in Jakarta, Merak, Cilegon, and Tarakan. "We seize 63,500 ecstasy pills as evidence from two suspects from TNI," BNN deputy for Narcotics Eradication Arman Depari on Tuesday (Oct 16). Arman explained two individuals from TNI are Kopda ED and Praka RD, who came from Kodam 1 Bukit Barisan. BNN also cooperated with TNI in operation to arrest them. "Both suspects of TNI members were handed over to TNI Military Police to be investigated," Arman added. The owner of narcotics of two TNI members is Meeng.
